National parks cover almost three quarters of the Hawkesbury region, providing sample areas for camping, horse riding, bushwalking, water skiiing and fishing.
Established by Governer Lachlan Macquaire in the late 1700's. Windsor was the thrid European settlement in Australia after Sydney Cove and Parramatta.
